The booklet is small, only 2 1/8" x 2 3/4" in size. The cover is made of a gray-green cardstock, folded in half. The inside is a light paper, also folded in half. All of the printing is done in permanent ink. It will not smear or run if it gets wet.

The original booklet this reproduction is copied from (upper booklet pictured in each photo) was issued to an Infantry Lieutenant in the 154th Rifle Division. The date written in the booklet is 1943. I don't know how early this style booklet was issued, but it is perfect for any 1943-45 impression.
